Astro update

We certainly have lots of energy happening all over the place on the lead up to the Jolly season.  Here are a few things happening over the next week.

• On Friday 1 December 2017 we have Venus the planet of love, relationships, values and money/resources move into Sagittarius.  The best way to channel this energy is to view love as an adventurous journey and try things you have never done before. Of course it does depend on where in your chart Venus is entering.  When it comes to matters of the heart we can dream big of where we see our future visions, as well as dreaming up big ideas of how we want to earn money through our jobs.  It is easy to get carried away and see the grass as greener, so do watch out for this.  I do urge you to let your higher mind guide you with your future dreams and even have a go at a vision board.  Travelling, learning languages and talking with different cultures will be favoured around Venus' stay here in Sagittarius.  Look to your Natal chart where Sagittarius is opening your heart to new ideas for your future.
• We have a Mercury retrograde occurring on Sunday 3 December 2017. By rule this is not a good time to sign any important documents, make any important decisions and start anything brand new as more than likely things will change once mercury goes direct again. There are definitely exceptions to the rule depending on the circumstance. As Mercury is the planet that helps us communicate our thoughts and deliver our communication whether in person or using technology, when it is retrograde it makes us internalize our thoughts and makes us very introspective over this period. Mercury takes you back over old thought patterns that you may have glossed over and now have to take a deeper look into things (possibly need to address an issue you never got around to). It also will make communication more confusing as there will be misunderstandings as we are not as clear with our communication. Around mercury retrogrades you can expect to be delayed when trying to get some where fast, miss appointments by getting the days/times mixed up, and technical break downs with technology and cars so triple check everything to avoid this. Time also feels like it is goes very slow.  This particular retrograde will likely be making you look to your beliefs (perhaps making you rethink them) or reassess what it is your future goals are (is there an idea you have overlooked).   Look to your chart and the house ruled by Sagittarius to get a more specific idea where your thoughts will be taken back over for a further assessment.
• On Monday 4 December 2017 NZT we have a full super moon in Gemini.    A Super Full Moon is extra potent as it makes its closest approach to earth resulting in the largest lunar disk as seen from Earth.  The energies for us on Earth are felt a lot stronger as well, so you can expect the lead up to this Full Moon to be highly emotional.   Gemini rules our logical lower mind as opposed to our higher mind ruled by Sagittarius.  Gemini energy also rules the twins, our immediate environment, versatility, communication and restlessness.  Around this full moon you may be feeling the need to communicate your thoughts a lot more than usual.  This may be either via social media or just needing to physically talk a lot (watch for snappy remarks).  Thoughts and ideas will be flooding in which may make you feel a bit scattered as you will notice yourself starting one project and moving onto another before finishing the first one!  This energy is best used to get errands done and standing up for yourself.  Typical Gemini energy makes us analyze our feelings, so bare in mind to stop yourself over analyzing your feelings.  Look to your Natal chart and the house ruled by Gemini to get a better idea how this full moon will be affecting you.
