Summer Solstice & Cancer Full Moon

Happy Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere!  On 22 December 2018 11.22AM the Sun moves in Capricorn. For the next solar month, we will all be looking very seriously at our goals and direction for the future.  It is a time of grounding our visions that we have dreamed up in December. Look to your natal chart to the house ruled by Capricorn to get a better idea of where your energy will be focused for the next month.

We also have a Full Moon in Cancer occurring on Sunday 23 December 2018 NZT 6.49AM.  For all of us, this a great time to be spending with your family and female figures. It is a time when we are more nostalgic as our memories flood with past times.  Frida Kahlo was a Cancerian, and I thought why not reminisce and honour an iconic female figure from our past.  Even if we are feeling vulnerable and moody around this full moon, we have Mercury conjunct Jupiter which is allowing our minds to at least see opportunities and the silver lining in situations. Neptune will be trining venus therefore there is also some healing and dreamy feelings when it comes to matters of the heart.   Saturn will oppose the Moon, therefore, we can feel some restrictions, delays and boundaries being pushed.  Remember to feel the feelings but don't become the emotion.  Be the witness.  If you don't witness, it can be all too easy to eat your way through your emotions with this full moon. It is a time to nurture yourself and be your own mother ~ Check your natal chart to the house ruled by Cancer to understand where some emotional themes and clearing is occurring for you.
