Full Super Moon in Cancer

We start the year off with another Super Moon - the second of three in a row.  This falls in the sign of cancer on 2 January 2018.  As Cancer is a water sign emotions could run exceptionally high around this time (more than a usual full moon).  Themes that are likely to come up with this full moon are how you feel nurtured by yourself and close relationships, who feels like your family, looking at your emotional needs from your mother and where feels like home.  You may find yourself wanting to eat your emotions so watch for this!  It is an introverted energy so take the time out to spend time at home blobbing out or being by water as this is healing to all the emotions that will bubble up.  The moon opposes Venus also at this full moon therefore we will be looking at how we feel emotionally in our relationships - do we feel like we have a strong foundation and our needs are being met?  Is there some long term plan with your partner?  There will be a trine to Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio therefore healing around relationships and family will take place and the ability to see our dreams.   It’s a good time to write down your dreams as they will no doubt be very vivid 🌕 look to your natal chart to the houses ruled by cancer and Capricorn to get a better idea where this energy is playing out in your life.
