Solar Eclipse in Leo

As I mentioned earlier in the month we are in eclipse season.  We now have the solar eclipse in Leo occurring on Tuesday 22 August 2017 at NZT 6.29 am.  A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon is in between the Sun and the Earth in direct alignment.  This will always be at the time of the New Moon.  We have New Moons every month but Solar Eclipses occur approximately 6 months apart.  The Solar Eclipse is the focal point of change indicating the main thrust of movement.  Usually you can feel the eclipse effects as soon as one month before it occurs or one month after it occurs. Eclipses really do create milestones in our lives or obvious changing points on our path.  This New Moon is bringing in new energy to do with self love and self worth (issues to do with this will come up to be released in order for more self love to come in).   This is a great time to start a new hobbie or discovering what it is you are passionate about.   Collectively it is a great time to fill up on self love so we can help those around us who need more attention and love.  Being around children will be super fun as they have that Leo joyful and playful energy naturally.  In saying that little ones may be more demanding and throw tantrums for those mums out there around this time!  We attach more to our ego in Leo times so be careful not to attach too much to outcomes or what people say - in saying that people love compliments in these Leo times so dish them out. Ascension symptoms leading up to this eclipse and still 10 days after the eclipse are - your emotions fluctuating, lack of sleep or not enough sleep, forgetting things, lack of concentration, flu like symptoms but not the full blown flu, headaches, dizziness, feeling lost, extreme rage and impatience, increase in synchronistic events, food sensitivities, the need to spend time alone, intense dreams, spacey/ungrounded, feeling out of control and that things are falling apart.  The list goes on.... Just know you are not going crazy around this time and if you need grounding drink more water and spend time by the ocean or in nature.  Look to your Natal chart and see which house is ruled by Leo to get an in depth idea where endings and beginnings are occurring with this Solar eclipse.  Remember things need to fall apart in order for new energy to surge in.
