We have already started the week off with a bang with Mars moving into Aries...now we have Mercury the planet of communication moving into Capricorn on 5 January 2019, making us get ourselves onto planning for the future. The Capricorn party keeps growing – we have the Sun, Pluto, Saturn and now Mercury .... Not to mention a Solar eclipse in Capricorn on 6 January 2019. A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon is in between the Sun and the Earth in direct alignment.  This will always be at the time of the New Moon.  We have New Moons every month but Solar Eclipses occur approximately 6 months apart.  The Solar Eclipse is the focal point of change indicating the main thrust of movement.  Usually you can feel the eclipse effects as soon as one month before it occurs or one month after it occurs. Eclipses really do create milestones in our lives or obvious changing points on our path. 

Things are getting very serious.  We are being asked to really take a good look at our long term goals, ambitions and where in the world we feel we belong.  Its a time of discerning these decisions on our own without anyone else influencing us.  These themes have been amongst us for the last year with Saturn’s move into Capricorn at the end of 2017. Mercury in this position for the next 3 weeks will bring our communication style to a much more methodical approach and see things a lot more black and white.  The need to compartmentalize and bring structure to how we deal with situations will be strong.  I suggest to use this energy by bringing structure and order into your life as well as planning a future that will pay off as an investment.
