We are sure in for a rare and phenomenal occurrence.  We are going to not only have a full moon in Leo but we are also going to have a super full moon and a lunar eclipse on Thursday 1 February 2018.   What does this all mean.Super full moonA Super Full Moon is extra potent as it makes its closest approach to earth resulting in the largest lunar disk as seen from Earth (around 30% larger than your average full moon).  The energies for us on Earth are felt a lot stronger as well, so you can expect the lead up to this Full Moon to be highly emotional.  We are experiencing the third super moon in a row.Lunar eclipseWe are also experiencing a lunar eclipse.  A Lunar eclipse is when the Earth is in between the Sun and the Moon in direct alignment.  The lunar eclipse will always accompany a solar eclipse in the same lunar cycle but a solar eclipse can occur on its own without a lunar eclipse.  Therefore the lunar eclipse is always either 14 days after or before the solar eclipse.This lunar eclipse is highlighting our heart centre.  If there is one full moon that shows you what your heart loves the most and feels drawn to - this is it!  The opposite of Leo is Aquarius so this full moon is about pulling our head and heart to work together.  You may feel like people you once felt like groupies with, shift away in order for you to express yourself fully as you truely are as oppose to being a follower.  Emotions will be extremely high, over reacting is more than likely and self love and worth is strong/ or lacking - either way you will find out.  Any issues you have in regards to matters of the heart will be brought up with this eclipse energy to be released - so I suggest to cry out any pain and tension and you will feel lighter which will allow more love to flood in.  This full moon is great for doing any hobbies you are passionate about and helping you navigate what those are.  Collectively it is a great time to fill up on self love so we can help those around us who need more attention and love.  Its a great time for romance and showing your appreciation.  Being around children will be super fun as they have that Leo joyful and playful energy naturally.  In saying that little ones may be more demanding and throw tantrums for those mums and dads out there around this time!  We attach more to our ego in Leo times so be careful not to attach too much to outcomes or what people say - in saying that people love compliments in these Leo times so dish them out. Overall its a great time to follow your heart and be proud of your own individuality.  Look to your Natal chart to the house ruled by Leo and Aquarius to see where this lunar eclipse is affecting you.In other places around the world this will be a "blue moon" however as it falls on 1 February for us in New Zealand it does not fit into this category (it is debatable but technically it is at 2.29am 1 February but you could see it start to appear just on 31 January).  A blue moon occurs when there are two full moons that occur in the same month.  For those of you in the Northern Hemisphere this is the case for you.
