Wrapping up 2023

We wrap up 2023 with a New Moon in Sagittarius on 13 December NZT, asking us to set our vision for what we want to create on our next journey in 2024 and beyond. The New Moon makes an aspect to Neptune, which may make you feel like escaping all responsibilities for the time being, and ready to hang up your boots for the year. It can cause confusion, self doubt and chaos. Do your best to use this energy to tap into your imagination and dream big. It can help you to see different points of view in how to achieve your next vision/dream. The New Moon is also making a harmonious aspect to the North Node. This aspect helps to give a bit more clarity on how to achieve your next steps. It could also bring some fateful events or insights for us all over the next month which are helping us to see a clear path for our next steps. This may involve fated encounters, conversations, situations that give you that gut feeling of that stepping stone. Mercury goes retrograde on the same day as the New Moon. We may as well call it a year to be honest, you will find it hard to get much more done from a “progress and ambitious” perspective. Mercury retrograde is more about going back over things, timing up loose ends, reviewing, rethinking and reflecting. Part of the Mercury retrograde will be going back into Sagittarius. We are being asked to reflect on our beliefs and vision and also reflect on the steps and plans we have to make that vision manifest. So as you can see, we have a bit homework to do when it comes to refining our vision and our beliefs surrounding this vision. Progress will move ahead again in the middle of January. In the meantime, give yourself space to visualise and dream, so you are ready to put some goals and solid plans into place come the New Moon In Capricorn in January.
