Capricorn Full Moon Eclipse

“Life is the most difficult exam.  Many people fail because they try to copy others, not realizing that everyone has a different question paper”.  We have a full moon in Capricorn happening on 17 July 2019 at 9.38am NZT which is also a lunar eclipse.   A lunar eclipse is when the Earth is in between the Sun and the Moon in direct alignment.  The lunar eclipse will always accompany a solar eclipse in the same lunar cycle but a solar eclipse can occur on its own without a lunar eclipse.  Therefore the lunar eclipse is always either 14 days after or before the solar eclipse. The full moon in Capricorn is collectively making us look at our goals in life, what has been fulfilled, what still needs to be achieved and possibly the lack of goals/structure in your life.  This full moon highlights that nothing in life is easy without setting goals to help you receive the rewards you are seeking.  It is a time that structures or foundations in your life that are not solid will break down but also structures that are solid are here to stay.  It is a time to look at where we are heading in the next phase of our journey and possibly moving city or country is the result of what needs to change in order to achieve this.  Where is home for you?  This full moon will have you reflecting on what career path it is you are really wanting to invest your energy into and what goals you are setting for yourself to help you achieve where it is you are wanting your career and life to go. After all, Capricorn is represented by the goat trying to reach the top of the mountain, how are you going to reach the top of your mountain? You will find yourself feeling very serious, looking at things from a very calculated point of view and seeing things as black and white. This full moon is giving you no room to sit back and see where you will end up by chance.  It is making you get down to serious business and take responsibility for your destiny.  This full moon is also highlighting where our boundaries with people need to be more clear. The full Moon is also conjunct Pluto, therefore themes to do with endings/beginnings and transformation are highlighted.  There is an emphasis on owning our soul path.  Look to your Natal chart with the house ruled by Capricorn to see where epiphanies will arise for you over this full moon.

Sagittarius Full Moon

We have a Full Moon in Sagittarius on 17 June 2019.  This Full Moon will bring up a lot of dreams/ideals and visions you have always wanted to do.  This is a great time to sit down and do a vision board as your imagination is expanding around this time.  It will bring with it adventurous and optimistic vibes making you want to try new things or go travelling abroad and experience different cultures.  This Sagittarius energy brings with it the need to explore what you truly believe in and how can you follow your own individual truth. The Full Moon will help bring new insights to broaden your perspective.  Be careful not to speak too much without thinking as you may end up getting into trouble with things you didn’t mean to say, or exaggerate the truth.  Watch also for being over-optimistic and setting your expectations too high. As it is a fiery Full Moon, passion will run high.  However, the flip side to the passionate fiery energy can result in getting angry and snappy with people or dominating your opinion over everyone else.   The ruler of this Full Moon is making an exact ‘square’ to Neptune at the time of the Full Moon.  Faith may be tested, learn to rise above any feelings of victimisation. Remember to look to the house in your chart ruled by Sagittarius, as this is where the Full Moon is bringing your awareness to.

Scorpio Full Moon

We have a Full Moon in Scorpio happening on 19 May 2019 NZT. Themes of Scorpio are to do with finances,  sexuality, transformation, taboo subjects and death. We really feel on a primal level what our desires are, so pay attention. It is a great time to allow the inner demons to come up and release all the doubt and negativity that hangs around inside. Issues from the past or subconscious issues may be cropping up because you have suppressed these emotions (take note of your dreams also as this can be a sign of what is hanging around your subconscious). When we don’t accept all parts of ourselves (i.e. the parts we feel ashamed of and judge) they start to rule us…this is where you need to take an internal stand and take the power back by firstly embracing the good, bad and ugly.  The more higher vibrations of Scorpio energy are transformation and changing (like the snake shedding its skin).  You know you are in the more lower vibrations if you are feeling paranoid or acting out in manipulative ways. Look to your natal chart to the house ruled by Scorpio to see where deep fears and transformation needs to be addressed. The full moon will be making an opposition with Mercury which means you may be trying very hard to make rational sense out of emotions.  Learn to sit with the deeper feelings rather than over analyze.  We also have Venus conjunct Uranus at the time of this Full Moon so watch for something unexpected to manifest in either your finances or relationships.

Full Moon in Virgo

Wednesday 20 February 2019 at 4.54am NZT we experience a Super Full Moon in Virgo.  Super Moons occur when the Moon is closer to Earth, and on February 19th, the Moon will be at its closest point all year. Around this time you may find yourself looking very closely at your diet/health, exercise, routine and how you are being of service.   It is important to not let the details of life stress you out around this time, but more importantly “discern” what it is that needs your attention.  You may find you want to spend this Full Moon period doing some sort of detox for the mind, body and soul.  If health issues come up around this time, then take it as a sign that you need to reinvent your schedule for a more healthy ‘you’ time. The aspects that this Full Moon is making is a ‘trine’ over to Mars and Uranus. Maybe something out of the blue will happen around this Full Moon that involves a new way of work, eating, health or exercise. We also have Saturn ‘sextile’ Mercury on this day, therefore something on a more spiritual and ‘untouched’ level is helping to bring concrete foundations into your life.  Look to your Natal chart to the house ruled by Virgo to get a more in depth understanding where this Full Moon is affecting you personally.  Feel free to reach out for a reading to understand it better for your own chart.

Full moon in Gemini

On 23 November 2018 NZT time we have a full moon in Gemini.
Gemini rules our logical lower mind as opposed to our higher mind ruled by Sagittarius.  Gemini energy also rules the twins (the dual yin and yang energy that resides within us), our immediate environment, versatility, communication and restlessness.  Around this full moon you may be feeling the need to communicate your thoughts a lot more than usual.  This may be either via social media or just needing to physically talk a lot (watch for snappy remarks).  Thoughts and ideas will be flooding in which may make you feel a bit scattered as you will notice yourself starting one project and moving onto another before finishing the first one!  This energy is best used to get errands done and standing up for yourself.  Typical Gemini energy makes us analyze our feelings, so bare in mind to stop yourself over-analyzing your feelings. When we have a Gemini full moon it is always a time to stop and watch how your inner dialogue and thoughts are programmed – if they are not good then it is time to upgrade to better mindful techniques.  Look to your Natal chart and the house ruled by Gemini to get a better idea of how this full moon will be affecting you or book a reading with me to find out more.

Full Moon in Taurus

We have a full moon in Taurus happening on Thursday 25 November 2018 .  Seeing as this full moon is in an earth sign, your emotions may not be as sensitive as other full moons, however, your emotions will more likely manifest through a physical illness so pay attention to your body.  A usual full moon in Taurus would be very grounding, however, this full moon has Uranus joining it.  This adds an element of surprise, chaos, unpredictable events and synchronicity.   You will more than likely be assessing your finances and relationships.  Your values and beliefs towards these things are being reviewed and possibly tested in order to help you establish what in fact your values and beliefs are.  Maybe you have outgrown them and need to take a wider perspective on them or maybe you need to stand your ground more in voicing your values to others.  The energy around this time is great to indulge in your senses with lovely food, material items (shopping) and gardening.  It is also a time to break yourself out of ruts (whether that is a habit, belief, attitude or relationship).  Taurans need security emotionally and materially so you may find yourself striving for this around the full moon, otherwise feeling not so secure if these needs are not met.  Look to your Natal chart and the house ruled by Taurus to get a better understanding where the energy is playing out for you.
