Mercury retrograde is happening for the next 3 weeks in the sign of Cancer.  The usual rules apply.  Here are some tips to help guide you:

  • Embrace feelings to want to retreat and be alone.  This can help you stay in your own energy center and know what feelings are yours.
  • Allow memories to resurface that hurt your inner child, things will be coming back up to make peace with the past.  This could be to do with anything from your past, but most likely your family members.
  • You may be visiting past thought patterns so do not freak out if old vivid memories come to say hello.  This is merely showing you how far you have come, and there may be a new layer of awareness coming to show revelations on this situation.
  • Do not go back to past situations that did not work out (eg.g exes), hold your boundaries strong.  Mercury retrograde can feel like a time warp that tricks you into wanting to go backward.
  • Any situation in your life that needs to get to the root cause, this energy is here to assist you.
  • Suppressed emotions that are from very long ago may emerge so no need to always understand what or why it has come back but allow the release.
  • Redecorating your home or nest to invite more nurturing energy is great under this retrograde.
  • Revisit your childhood photos or stories as this will bring you joy.
  • Get busy in the kitchen as you will love eating 🙂
  • If you feel like you are overthinking things, do something physical like cooking, exercising, yoga.  Something to get you out of your head.
