New Moon in Cancer

On 6 July NZT we have a watery new moon in Cancer. It has a supportive feel to it as it has a wide conjunction with Venus, a sextile with Mars and a trine with Saturn. All areas that may bring us strife (mars and Saturn) are playing ball and giving us a break. This is a great New Moon to spend some time nurturing yourself, nurturing your family and spending quality time with women/mama. Cancer is a feminine energy and the archetype of the mother. This means home cooked meals, cuddles and sleep are all a priority for your mind body and soul right now and for the next month ahead. The Cancer part in the zodiac essentially relates back to the womb, where we are 100% vulnerable and safe.  The essence of mastering the Cancer energy is to keep that vulnerability in this world, therefore learning where and who feel like home to allow this part of you to thrive.
